We’ll take all of Asia, please. Bertelsmann Stiftung wanted to turn what defines Asia and its people into something tangible using 25 infographics. The most important aspect was selecting the right subjects: the broad spectrum of topics ranges from China’s social credit system through to the national heroes of the countries of Asia.
Each of the infographics is based on its own visual concept – be it tech giants Baidu, Alibaba, or Tencent in the form of octopuses or the social credit system as a pagoda. The result was infographics that were used online, for example by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and for various print productions. In addition, a card game was also developed.
