Senior Strategist (f/m/d)

We are looking for a Senior Strategist (f/m/d) to play a key role in our internal teams, who will play an essential client-oriented role in setting direction and presenting our strategic work.

Role description

As a senior strategist you have a strong understanding of brand development and marketing communication and know how to apply target group research and communication and market analysis to identify and develop intelligent and relevant content and digital strategies that either serve as a stand-alone product for our clients or form the basis of our creative, data-driven work.

Your responsibilities

  • You will work closely with the client and our teams to identify our clients' business objectives and align our strategy with their goals.you will understand the client's business needs and how our products and services meet their goals and KPIs.you will design, research, present and implement high-level integrated strategies based on the client's goals. 

  • You are experienced in the conception, execution and analysis of qualitative and quantitative market/target group research.

  • You like to create customer journey maps/experience maps to identify communication gaps and develop better alternatives.

  • Together with our Design and Content team you translate strategic insights into inspiring, data-informed briefings. 

  • You design and deliver workshops to convince clients of the benefits of collaborative working.

  • You develop and deliver high quality, compelling client and new business presentations.

  • You work across internal design, content, technology and client services departments to find creative solutions.

  • You ensure that all ideas contribute to the strategy.

  • You build successful relationships and identify new opportunities with existing clients and business units, and follow industry trends to implement them as best practices within the company and promote clients' understanding of new concepts, technologies and their potential benefits.

What we expect

  • You have a college or university degree (e.g. BA/BS Marketing or Communications) or an equivalent degree in a relevant discipline such as economics, marketing, design or communications or an equivalent combination of work experience.

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in strategy development and have knowledge in the areas of brand and communication strategy, research (qualitative, quantitative), from briefing to conclusion, in a design or communication agency or consultancy.

  • You are familiar with a broad spectrum of research and intelligent sourcing.

  • You have solid workshop experience and a diverse set of methods and tools to successfully conduct these.

  • Your knowledge of traditional media as well as social media, digital media technologies, platforms and services is distinct

  • You have experience in a variety of different industries and product categories.

  • You demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the infographics, data visualization and content industries and the related trends and best practice examples.

  • You are open-minded for new things, like to leave your comfort zone, take responsibility for your projects and show initiative.

  • You like to work together with others and encourage thinking and working as a team.
